Property :Colorless perpendicular crystal with deliquescence;unstalbe,and will melt into black liquid at about 350oC,soluble in water or alcohol,its water solution is strongly alkaline,pure NaHS can be dissolved in Hcl and become clear solution and generate H2S.

 

Use:To produce ammonium sulphate and pesticide ethanethiol,the beneficiation of copper ore,tanning,depilation and tanning;to get rid of the free sulfur inactive carbon desulfurizer; also used in sulfurous acid dyeing.
